- (-23) DURING FIRST SOLO, STUDENT PILOT WAS FLYING AIRCRAFT IN TRAFFIC PATTERN. ON THE THIRD LANDING, THE PLANE STRUCK THE RUNWAY IN NOSE-LOW ATTITUDE. THE NOSE GEAR WAS TORN OFF. THE PROPELLER AND WINGTIP WERE DAMAGED, NO PERSONAL INJURY.
